Between April 23rd and May 2nd 2008, the worldwide gathering of The United Methodist Church will be revising the UM Book of Discipline and Book of Resolutions. The General Conference will be debating over 1,500 petitions offerd by both clergy and layity. Among the most noteable petitions are petitions concerning homosexualtiy, abortion, Jurisdicitonal Conference reorganization, and health care.
